At Mrityunjay Yogpeeth Foundation (“we,” “our,” “us”), we prioritize the safety and well-being of all our students and participants. However, yoga, like any physical activity, involves inherent risks. By enrolling in our programs, attending our classes, retreats, or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. Assumption of Risk
- I understand that yoga and other physical activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, or medical complications.
- I voluntarily participate in yoga classes, retreats, training programs, and other related activities at my own risk.
- I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult a physician before beginning any new physical activity, including yoga.
2. Health & Medical Disclaimer
- I certify that I am in good health and do not suffer from any medical condition that would prevent me from safely participating in yoga or related activities.
- If I have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or other concerns, I will disclose them to the instructor before participating.
- I understand that Mrityunjay Yogpeeth Foundation, its instructors, employees, and affiliates are not licensed medical professionals and cannot provide medical advice.
3. Release of Liability
- I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Mrityunjay Yogpeeth Foundation, its owners, instructors, employees, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of my participation in any yoga activities.
- This waiver extends to any personal injury, property damage, loss, or harm incurred during or as a result of participation in yoga classes, retreats, training programs, or use of related services.
4. Personal Responsibility
- I agree to listen to my body, take necessary precautions, and inform the instructor if I feel discomfort or require modifications.
- I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my own actions and well-being during yoga sessions.
5. Photography & Media Release
- I grant permission to Mrityunjay Yogpeeth Foundation to use photographs, videos, or other media taken during yoga sessions, retreats, or training programs for promotional purposes unless I explicitly opt out in writing.
6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to arbitration in Rishikesh, India, as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
7. Acknowledgment & Agreement
By agreeing or participating in any yoga-related activity at Mrityunjay Yogpeeth Foundation, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Liability Waiver.
